Our Business Unit has been active in this therapeutic area for around 10 years, and our task was to gradually build a team as the business opportunity grew in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
We worked with Jitka Basso's team at Minty MIND on multiple occasions, and we were always very satisfied — with their approach, their expertise and professionalism, and above all with the outcome of our collaboration: candidates who, as new colleagues and employees, became part of our BU's success in the Czech and Slovak markets.
Working with Minty MIND, we grew from two managers originally responsible for the medical and commercial areas into a strong seven-member team.
We were always looking for senior team members who would share with us not only professionalism and expertise, but also a strong work ethic — an ethical approach to demanding daily tasks, team spirit, belief in the value and purpose of cross-functional collaboration, and a genuine interest in personal growth. Both our BU leadership and the new colleagues themselves took part in selecting new team members, and the result of our collaboration with Minty MIND is a team that is strong both professionally and as people. We began working with Minty MIND at the end of 2021, when we were looking for an executive search partner. That was the first time I met Jitka Basso, owner and managing director of Minty MIND, in person. From the very beginning, I felt Jitka's great professionalism, expertise, and energy — qualities that matter especially in our industry.
The goal of the project was to map the market and approach suitable candidates for the role of Managing Director/CFO — someone with not only financial and managerial competencies, but also a broader business perspective. This was not an easy brief, since as a client we had high expectations for the future CFO role, which plays a significant part in running the company and is responsible not only for financial results, but above all for helping shape the company's strategy and direction.
Jitka Basso personally led the project and exceeded our expectations for the collaboration. Not only did she keep the project on schedule, but she also understood exactly what kind of person we were looking for — not just professionally, but as a person, so that the chosen candidate would fit our company culture. The project was a great success, and the position was filled by a candidate who has been a long-term asset to our company. We worked with Minty MIND on several talent search projects, as well as in strategic mentoring, where the Minty MIND team helped us launch a transformation project involving a change in how our company is managed.
In Minty MIND, we found a partner with years of management and HR experience across a range of industries. We saved time in the search for new talent and were able to draw on outside experience while still keeping our own specific needs in mind.
